Essa certificação de documentos não poderia ser uma cópia autenticada via cartório e, no caso dos extratos, atestado pelo gerente do banco?

Não. Tem que ser certificado por embaixadas/consulados, banker/gerente, advogados.......

toda a certificação deve ser feita pela mesma pessoa e essa pessoa
nao ter grau parentesco com vc. lembrando que o banker/gerente tera que preencher um formulario que a amex envia diretamente pra ele esse doc e a referencia bancaria o banker deve assinar carimbar e devolver pra amex.

Lincolns, Nunca isso ocorreu comigo.... sua dúvida seria sobre o fato dele ser emitido em outro país ? Onde aceita amex aceita ele é como se fosse um amex do Brasil normal...

Logo ter recebido o Green Card do Amex Reino Unido, hoje fui convidado a ter o Centurion Card:

Dear Arthur,

I’m delighted to invite you to apply a Centurion Card. Kindly complete the enclosed application form and return scanned copies with your supporting documents to: [email protected]

Please be sure to complete the application in full and supply the required documents listed below, as this will ensure that we can process the application fully right away and without delays;

§ Please provide 3 months of most recent stamped bank statements for the account into which your income is deposited or where you hold the majority of your assets.

§ A certified* copy of proof of identity (Passport, Identity Card or Driving License. This must show a photograph, full name, date of birth, expiry date and Passport or Identity number)

§ A certified* copy of proof of residential address - we can accept one of the following documents (bank statements, water bill, gas bill, electricity bill, credit card statement, mortgage statement, local authority or council tax bill or landline telephone bill)

§ If there are any Supplementary applicants, please also provide certified copy of their identity and certified copy of their proof of address with your application.

*Certification process is explained on page 7 of the application form.

Although the benefits and value of Centurion membership are extensive, the attached brochure will give you a snapshot of what you would be entitled to take advantage of. The fee for the Centurion Card has two parts. A one off joining fee of US$/€4,000 is payable when you open your account and an annual fee of US$/€4,000 payable at the start of each year (total US$/€8,000 payable in Year 1 and US$/€4,000each year thereafter).
